Adira (Clearvision and OWA) Grant Update

Adira Grant — gracious update!!❤️  I am laser focused on creating awareness and support in our industry around how to care for our aging patients more effectively.

I have been searching for the right path, which has not been an easy walk. I am the daughter of a dementia dad - that is my degree in this area of learning.  Why would anyone listen to me, how do I create a strong circle to help my vision come to fruition?

As I was feverishly googling different topics, BOOM - there she was. The most amazing woman and opportunity fell into my lap.  The Dementia Whisperer (I kid you not) - she is a real person.  I emailed her and held my breath.  She emailed back!!!  We started with a phone call, and then she shared a virtual training with me.  I had a week of travel up next so we agreed to reconvene.  It was hard to hang up as we both connected instantly.

As we closed our conversation, I shared that I was heading to Arizona.  She asked me where I was going to be.  I was there for work, but I would end up in Queen Creek to visit a friend from high school.  She actually squealed, "What?  That's where I live!"

Five days later, we embraced at her front door.  There's no air in the room because we're cut from the same cloth.  We had dinner, and ideas flowed.  More updates to come.

What I will share with you is that The Dementia Lifeboat was born and soon to sail.
